Hey Y’All!!!!

OK, so I’m a little (or super-duper/absolutely/ridiculously) late on posting a review on this novel. I don’t know why…I got it the day it released and then read it immediately. And then I read it again, and again, and again and well, you get the picture! lol

I LOVED this series. I didn’t want it to end! Truly!! And now, Jennifer is gifting us with Daemon’s point of view in Oblivion! Woohoo! Jenn, you ROCK!!

Here is my review of Opposition:

This was a fantastic ending to a fantastic series. Jennifer truly brought ALL THE FEELS out in this book. I would laugh and then I would cry. I found myself reading and then re-reading paragraphs just so I could glean all of the information I could. This was truly action-packed and I simply couldn’t put it down. I actually read it 3 times in a row and found new material I had missed before. Of course, I love Daemon and Katy’s love affair. They are perfect for each other – a true team in every sense of the word. While they both did things and saw things (sorry, I know that’s absolutely vague and that’s because I don’t want to give any spoilers) that they will never ever be able to forget; they have each other as a sounding board and a wall of support for when the other one is crumbling.

I will openly admit that I cried over some parts, again the FEELS that Jennifer brought to the story were absolutely fabulous. I also laughed out loud, cheered over things I wouldn’t usually cheer about (yeah, sometimes I was happy to see someone get what was coming to them ~ Sadi, anyone?!?!) and felt my heart pound erratically as well and held my breath, gritting my teeth until I could get through different parts of the book. I really enjoyed meeting some new characters that are also seen in the Arum novella Obsession and expanding on those characters’ lives.

Of course, the story flowed well. There was no point in the novel in which I felt as if it was frivolous or inconsequential to the story. I loved watching Archer’s transformation from rigid military man to the man who helps Daemon keep everything together and never give up hope for Dee. (sorry – that’s all I can say! 😉 )
Opposition was the perfect ending to one of my absolute favorite series. I did grieve when it was over because I loved this series so very much. However, Jennifer is absolutely fabulous (we all know this 🙂 ) and so she has given us little snippets of their story even after the books are over – such as Katy and Daemon’s wedding with all the bells and whistles – and other wonderful scenes!
Thank you, Jennifer for a fabulous book, a fabulous series and now ~ a book from DAEMON’S point of view coming out December 1st ~ Oblivion!!

Again, the entire Lux series has been absolutely fantastic, and Opposition was simply a fabulous ending. In all honesty, there couldn’t have been a better ending to the Lux series. Although, if I had my way, well…I would NEVER have this series end…ever, ever, EVER!!!! Seriously, EVER!!! lol
