His hand wrapped in mine
Causes me to shudder
His laughter is contagious
He is like no other.

While many wondrous sights
will I see, the most wondrous
In the world will be, will be
When my love comes home to me,

I wait at our corner
In rain or shine
For my love to appear
Off of the old blue line.

At last! He appears
His handsome face unmatched
But wait – who is this female that is holding my love’s hand?

He has found someone new
On the train it seems. Hey –
It’s ok – it really is.
I wasn’t really into him
